Full time places in Reception classes are available in September of the academic year within which the child becomes five years old. Although parents have the right to express a preference for Glascote Academy, there is no guarantee of a place being offered. It is Glascote Academy's policy to try and meet parents' wishes where possible, however in some cases there may be more applications than there are places available.

Proposed Policy for 2025/26: In accordance with the DfE’s School Admissions Code 2021, Glascote Academy wishes to hear your views on its proposed admission arrangements for 2025/2026. 

We are proposing to remove the following oversubscription criterion:

ii. Children of members of staff who have been employed by the Academy or Nursery for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the Academy is made, and or, the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage
